IMO leasing is only a 'solution' for those who can't afford to buy a decent car be that outright or on finance.
Free insurance and servicing goes nowhere near justifying the cost of leasing.
Ignoring the up front costs 4 years of leading will cost you at the very least €15k and 6 years €20k at the end of which you will have not a thing to show for it.

Ian Collins, it depends, you have to remember in spain a vehicle loses a lot of value at the moment of purchase, when you lease a car EVERYTHING is included except for the fuel, so everything, and you can lease a car from 36 month up to 60 months, when you buy a car you pay an upfront lumpsum then a monthly fee for X amount of months normally this is the same amount of months as a leasing, at the end of the "leasing" period you have to pay the final amount in lump sum too, leaving the vehicle you just purchased valued at the price of the last lump sum practically, you loose all the money youve paid on finance and on top of that you have paid taxes, itv, insurance, tyres servicing etc etc etc with leasing a car if you paid 250 a month (remember this includes everything fully comp insurance the lot) for 48 months you´d have paid 12k and then you renew and get another car and so on, you never own the car but you never have any other worry or cost and basically buying the car you´d still be losing this amount of money anyway and also paying all the extras on top (taxes insurance etc etc etc). i have to say to Darro that it is NOT a solution for those who can not afford to buy outright, becasue for a leasing you are financially checked that you can afford the invesment price for that vehicle! Ian Collins we have an office in benijofar Autolease Renting, if you want to pop in we can give you some quotes and explain what "car leasing" actually is, from a specialised leasing company with 30 years experience in this sector.

Thanks Sam for the helpful response. I always leased a vehicle in the UK and paid £200 plus each month. It worked for me, In fact I did it for over 10 years.
I will pop in and have a chat if I decide to go ahead.
