Is it legal to use dash cams in Spain and can video be used as evidence relating to accidents etc?

Perfectly legal to use a dash cam in Spain as long as it does not obstruct the drivers view ahead and can provide evidence for insurance and police matters if they deem it acceptable

If you need it hardwired, any competent auto electrician should be able to do this easily. Unfortunately I don’t know of one but I believe there is a British guy up behind Zoco market.

If you drive past Zoco with the market on your right , there is a right turn at the top of the hill that takes you into a small industrial estate. I’m sure his details are in this forum somewhere. Good luck!

Yes but they are much tidier when hardwired.

From what I have read dash cam footage is not admissible in a court of law.
