Driving from Torrevieja to Santander

Hi,
We are driving for first time to Santander Ferry Terminal from San Luis. We would very much appreciate if anyone could advise us on the best/quickest route via Madrid.

Google maps will offer different routes to suit avoiding peages too if you so choose.Via Albacete to Madrid.Take M50 the most easterly ring road of Madird past airport then N1 to Burgos.Pick up A231 west then A67 north to Torrelavega and Santander.Personally i use national roads from Burgos to Santander but I won't confuse the issue.

Hi, we have used via michelin maps.They normally give you about 3 roads to try and also give you an idea regarding petrol cost. Good luck.If you have a problem let me know.
