Driving License Renewal

Have received a letter from Gisbert Centro Medico in Cartagena, saying my driving license is about to expire (actually only the section regarding driving large vehicles) it says it’s a free service, but I’m guessing I’d still need to go to the Driving Licensing Office. Has anyone been approached this way. Many thanks for any help.

No need to go to the driving licence centre it is done by internet by the medical centre you use I used the one in Main Street in Catral very helpful and very quick You will just be tested for the grade that is expiring

I did mine a couple of weeks ago in Rojales. Just eye test then sitting at the screen trying to keep 2 dots (cars) on lane (road). My dots on the road was disaster but i must have passed. Paid 40€ and told the new one would be for 3 years and arrive in the post. I have a "cover note" from them in case it gets delayed. Psicotecnico de aptitude centre. open Monday and thursday 4.30 to 7.00.

I need to renew my Spanish licence m ( never done it before), I know where the place in Rojales is where you do the medical , but don’t you have to have a new photo as well? Or is there somewhere to go where every thing is under one roof?

They will do the photo for you on the computer which gets attached to your application.

Thank you , does the application form get filled in when I’m there or do I have to get one (where from) and take it with me? Sorry never done it so maybe stupid question? Th solace I went was upstairs a ice a florist near a bank! Is it the same place, not moved has it?

The Clinic in La Siesta do it for you. Take the photo for you too and do all the paperwork. Mine was renewed for a year last November. Normally it is longer, but I was happy to pass!!
