im looking for someone to help with my husbands driving license exchange. I notified traffico he intended to exchange his licence. A while afterwards I was notified I sent it to Malager traffico I requested if they could transfer the intention to Alicante and they sent me a message to say Alicante had to request it from Malaga. I’m looking for advice.

Hello We did our license exchange through the specialist who deal with licenses and tests etc. They were very helpful. I don't know about your area (Quesada) but in Catral we have a driving exchange office in the high street, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. You could try cancelling the one with Malaga & redo it for Elche Trafico

Its not true that you can transfer your driving licence per se. You have to accept a basic driving licence, they will not transfer your uk entitlements like 7.5 ton limit or HGV or PCV etc,

Don't think you can transfer a UK one to Spanish now without taking the Spanish driving test and theory, unless you applied before Dec 2020 ?
