Driving license

Help I lost my uk license last night and I have been living in Spain for almost a year I never changed it and only recently started driving again problem is how do I change something I don’t have apparently you can’t change unless a uk resident

You may have to take a Spanish driving test to obtain a licence.

That's what I was thinking but I'd call DVLA perhaps a replacement of a lost one won't put this year's date on it and it would be ok?

As a Spanish resident you can not use a UK licence in Spain
