We will be travelling to Quesada in March in our SUV over 3 days.
Day 1 to arrive in Calais with overnight stop.
Day 2 to travel from Calais to Pamplona another overnight stop.
Day 3 onward travel to Quesada.
Has any else done the journey in these stages any feedback is appreciated

Hi.What sort of advice are you seeking? I could advise on the route chosen but I don't use hotels.

It’s the distance between Calais and Pamplona if anyone has experience of that distance in 1 day.
We did Calais to augaleme to Zaragoza to Quesada over 4days in October trying it over3 days to cut costs

The middle day is ambitious to say the least, even with 2 drivers. The quickest route is over 11 hours and 100 Euro in Tolls.
I would use ASFA website to plan carefully and would consider the following route
Portsmouth to Caen. Overnight on Brittany Ferries then head for Nantes, Bordeaux and onward to Spain. It will take approx 10 hours including stops with tolls around 40 Euros to Spain.
Good luck whichever you decide

Calais to pamplona is a bit of a stretch . .we did calais to bordeaux then to guardamar . . Both were 7.30am starts and arrival around 5.30pm at each location . . Pamplona must be 2 to 3 hrs longer than bordeaux . . Obviously depends on how many drivers you have, but our way was an equal split per day . .

Doing a route from calais to los montesinos as we speak (not currently the driver while texting!), our route takes us no tolls via Bordeaux, Pau, and over the mountain at tunnel de somport. Set off at 5.30 frm Lincolnshire, took the ferry, We’ll b at Pau at around 1am. 3 or 4 hour kip in the car in a lay-by, then onwards to arrive at our door approx 3pm tomorrow. Got a few butties, couple of flasks of coffee, bottles of water, Google maps to guide us, ready for anything. That may be not what u want to know, but it suits us. Let me know if any of that helps u if I explain it in more detail. Good luck in your journey.

You may want to consider a route from Calais via Paris,Orleans and Clermont Ferrand. It is slightly shorter and slightly cheaper with tolls, plus you will get to see the scenery of the massif central. If you are nervous about Paris there are 2 routes further to the west to avoid the periphique. This route enters Spain near Perpignan.Tolls from here to Quesada have been abolished and it's autopista all the way.

Hi
Would do Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao with Brittany ferries everytime. Did Caen last trip and I am sure it was no cheaper with fuel and tolls plus overnight hotel.
Ferry is great, get a meal and a comfy bed arrive in Spain fresh and can drive to destination in a day with ease.
It's a no brainer trust me

That depends on your sea legs across the Bay of Biscay! Last time we did it I spent most of the time on that 'comfy bed' and the plates would hardly stay on the table at meal time! I vowed never to do it again!!
