IDP own car

morning all, i own a spanish registered car that i leave at alicante airport, eko parking, when i am not in spain. i am not a resident, i have an NIE number and own a property. do i need an IDP to drive my car in spain even though it is spanish registered and insured, i was last out in september 21 and didn`t have one then?

If you are from the UK with a photocard driving licence, no IDP is needed whatever car you are driving, although it is reported that some hire car firms insist on it.
