M50 ring foad

I’m driving from Bilbao to Malaga and would like to use the M50 where would I join it and where would I leave it to miss driving in Madrid

I always use the R2 to avoid Madrid. I think the toll is €2.50 which is the only toll road all the way. The A3 to Elche is well marked when coming as is the R2 itself and, when I first used the M50, found it to be a lot busier and not as well signed.

It's easy enough to use the M50 but you need to follow the overhead gantry signals to avoid taking a wrong turn.It is the most easterly of Madrid's ring roads and passes around Barajas Airport.Take A3 to Albacete and avoid any peage sign.
Alternatively you could travel via Logrono or Zaragoza.
