Mucia car tax

Postby alicia32 » Fri Mar 26, 2021 11:43 am

Hello. My vehicle is registered in Murcia. Does anyone have a car that is also registered there, if so, how do I pay the vehicle tax online. Thanks.

Think you probably just go to the SUMA office where you now live and they will change your new details with Traffico and arrange to debit your future road tax payments.

I spoke with the suma office in Rojales and they said i have to change it with Trafico. Has anyone either taxed a car that has Murcia as a place of issue, or changed that to Alicante?

Thanks

if you have changed the ownership of the car into your name and you live in the Alicante area then the town hall where you live will issue a Tax Demand through the SUMA office
It does not matter where the car was first registered

Hi I have a car which I bought from a garage in Murcia for 4 years ago and I live in Almoradi, the Suma bill is paid to the town hall where you live, therefore for the last 3years I have paid Almoradi the Suma. It has got nothing to do with where you bought the car from but where you live with you car. Just to inform you when to pay the Suma it is always the due the first weeks in May and it is well advertised.

For interest, there is a taxpayer's calendar on the Suma web site at https://www.suma.es/en/calendario-del-contribuyente
