New Speed Cameras

New Speed Cameras

Postby Shaggydog17 » Tue Jan 09, 2024 8:37 am

Hi, does anyone know if the new speed cameras installed at all entrances/exits to Ciudad Quesada are live! And why is Quesada being specifically targeted, speeding problems or revenue?!!

I wondered if they were installed to check that drivers actually stopped at the stop signs when approaching the roundabouts.

Speed cameras.... well the amount of traffic and how busy that area has become they won't get much revenue it's at a snails pace most days.
Perhaps ANPR system?

They don't have stop signs at roundabouts, they only have give way signs.

Not correct. If you go out of the roundabout by Consum / JYSK there is a solid white line on the road and a stop sign.

Yep, you are absolutely right! We spotted that sign a few weeks ago leaving ALDI and it’s definitely a STOP sign plus same on the road marking. Don’t recall ever seeing STOP at a roundabout before!
