New speed limits

New speed limits

Postby TonTri » Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:51 am

Can anyone tell me what the speed limits are now on roads such as the N332 and Lemon Tree road? I've looked at the N332 website and it just states that the new 30 & 20kph limits apply to roads in cities or urban areas but doesn't say what the roads between urbanisations are classified as. Do the existing speed limits apply in these cases?

I'm looking for a definitive answer please, not guesswork.

Both roads have a 90 Km speed limit apart fromthe sections that have a reduced limit posted. Usually the reduced limit has another sign showing the hazard that is causing the restriction, like a side road or roundabout, when the hazard is passed then the limit automatically reverts to 90Km until the next speed posting.
