Over 65 Driving Licence

Over 65 Driving Licence

Apparently N332, and the press, got this wrong. As put in the original, I couldn't find an official DGT ruling on this.

I have therefore removed the post.

More to do with assessing the mental state of the applicant according to one paper.
And think yourself lucky. There was a proposal to assess the "masculinity" of men as they are involved in more accidents than women. The idea was to check if their "machismo" was partly responsible.

No, I'm not kidding. From Motor Debate
"The General Directorate of Traffic has published a report in which it calls for "incorporating mandatory gender modules into programs to obtain and renew driving licences." For the first time we are witnessing an approach to road safety from a gender perspective , with nuances that border on stereotypes such as gender violence between the male driver and the female driver.
This is a perspective already used in Argentina , where courses are taught on values of equality and delegitimization of violence against women to obtain a driver's license, with the development of concepts such as feminicide, transvesticide , gender identity, roles, stereotypes…"

Shades of Nazi Germany!

What about women and mobile phones, at least 95% of drivers you see driving while on the phone are women!
