SCOOTER INSURANCE

ANYBODY RECCOMEND A SUITABLE INSURANCE COMPANY TO COVER A NEWLY BOUGHT SCOOTER

HI Harrison This can be a hard one as Scooters get classed as a load of different things out here as i have a mobility scooter 3 wheeler which is not licensed as its not needed to be, ive tried to get it covered by my broker but all they tell me is its not required & wont do it but they will add it to our house policy to cover 3rd party cover, i did ask to get cover for theft as well but was told only at home & it must be in a secure place under lock & Key. But if its a normal 2 seater scooter upto 125 cc any broker will cover that under normal Scooter insurance. i was looking at a new allow 3 wheeler single seater as it looks good & folds for easy carrying, But i noticed on The Police N332 site that despite being a 3 wheeled scooter with an electric engine under 1000 watt it still requires to be licensed as its classed as a moped, So it needs licensed & insured. Hope this is of some help But let me know how u get on?

If it is a mobility 3 wheel scooter then does not require insurance or registration and it states that on the 332 site
