How long can I drive my uk car with uk number plates in spain on a uk licence.

As a visitor up to 6 months in the year bearing in mind the 90 day rule.
The car can stay all year but you can only drive it for up to 6 months in that year.

Best check your insurance, most insurers only provide 90 days insurance cover while out of the uk

Unless you are a Spanish resident, in which case you can’t drive it at all.

This is true. Saga are one of few non-specialist insurers that offer year round European coverage.
