Very small chip in windacreen

Is it illegal here to have a small chip in the windscreen if so can it be fixed or will it need replacing

Go to an Autoglass centre they will fix it maybe free is covered on your insurance
Remember Little chips will soon be big chips

It's called CarGlass over here. Loads of ads on Spanish telly and work the same as Autoglass in UK. As jpeg says, it could be covered on your insurance.

You can make an appointment at Torrevieja on the Carglass website.

It is only illegal if it is in your direct line of sight go back to the dealer they may fix it

The dealer will likely just call in Carglass so cut out the middleman and go direct! I doubt many car dealers would have the equipment to fix windscreens, it’s something of a specialist job.

If it was there when you bought the car then the dealer was at fault in selling you an unroadworthy car and it's their responsibility to put it right.

Remember a car should be maintained at all times in a condition in which it would pass an ITV - not just on the anniversary of the test!
