What to do about second hand car having wrong mileage?

Hi. I'm ShazzyP50, and moved to Spain with my husband in April.
We brought a car from a top Garage, and was told it was imported from Germany. We were also told it was a 2010, with 41500 on the clock, They said because the car was imported there is never paperwork.
We are suspicious about the mileage, as when the paperwork did come from Traffico, it said it was 2008. I have wrote to the garage, but had no reply.
Does anyone know what I could do next. I have been in touch with a solicitor, but because we have nothing in writing to say what mileage it had at the time of buying there is nothing we can do.
We have had the car checked out by a Ford Garage, and they have confirmed in their eyes, the wear and tear on the car does not reflect the mileage it has done. but again they can't prove this.
Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Hi if the solicitor tells you have no comeback just tell everyone the name of the garage this is abut the worst thing you could, do sorry you have had this experience but just put it to bed and get on enjoying your time in Spain not everyone is corrupt.

Hi. So how do i stand if iWant to sell the car, and if iSell to another garage, theymtell me the car has been clocked.
we have also had the car checked on the ford data base, and all the information on it has been removed. How does spanish consumer protection work over here?

The other night, I had my t.v. on a Spanish news station (tve) and I just caught the end of a news item, it showed the police breaking open a car sales lot,and breaking open some buildings on it, and taking out new speedometer's in boxes from the premises, and a lot of paperwork, because it was the end of the news item, I didn't hear all what was said, but the part I could see was the wrighting around the fence in red (been here for 10 yrs) was exactly the same as the car lot by Mecadonna?(the mercadonna at st Lois) but today I passed by and all looked normal, so I am wondering if it was coincidence the layout etc,the news item did say Torrevieja as a sub title???

If the garage you bought your car from was Autos Coeleone then you will not get any reply.
As the owners are under arrest and all of the premises have been padlocked by the police, they were obtaining cars from around various parts of Europe some even clapped out taxis and the like. When I say, the like, actually stolen so some people who bought cars from them don't own them, the main premises that they did most of there dirty deeds ie clocking and changing the paint colour to further confuse was in Almoradi this is also padlocked up and as far as I know investigations are still ongoing.

I have just been informed by Mercedes Torreviejca that my car I bought from Autos Corelones has had the Mileage turned back,and that the work carried normally under warranty is void,resulting in €300 bill,and also they informed me that any further work will not be guaranteed,
Any helpfull suggestions please

Update on Autos Corleones.I have been with my Translator to the Guardia Civil in Torrevieja and made a Denuncia.One of the detectives stated that they have about 140 denuncias and more coming weekly and also they will get Mercedes to reveal where their proof of my Odometer being manipulated is as Mercedes Torrevieja would not release the details to me.The Guardia also advised me to register a complaint against Mercedes(to recuperate my €300) at the OMIC(Citizens Advice) office in Rojales Town Hall and that my Car is perfectly Legal not as Mercedes stated,the only responsibility I have is to declare when I come to sell the vehicle that I don't know the correct Mileage.More of this saga to follow.

So my question is: Why are they still open for business? We went past the San Luis branch this afternoon and there were quite a few unsuspecting people looking at cars on the forecourt.

Hi I got the impression the garage by Mercadona & another Auto Corleones is as you say still under police investigation so the cars will probably have to remain until such time that the police work has finished...Good luck to anyone who has a denuncia on the garage
We also saw that all the cars have gone from the garage by Mercadona on the way to Beniofar?

Last Friday whilst driving into Torreviejca my wife spotted Guardia activity at Corleones compound at San Luis roundabout,when we returned home Hours later the compound was empty.50 cars approx worth a lot of money,hopefully when the case has been to court(could be 4 years according to the Guardia)
there should be some compensation in the pipeline.
