Which route to take from Bilbao to Quesada?

Which route to take from Bilbao to Quesada?

Postby Tizzy74 » Fri Oct 01, 2021 9:44 pm

What route is best to take from Bilbao to Quesada? We will arrive middag and are worried we will not find any open petrol stations later on in the evening! And rest stops as well, is it plenty on both routes?

Thanks for any replies

Bilboa to Burgos, Burgos to Madrid (R2 around Madrid), Madrid to Albacete, Albacete to Elche, Elche to Quesada. Motorway all the way and plenty of 24 hour petrol stations and rest stops on the way.

Alternatively, Bilbao to Zaragoza, Zaragoza to Valencia, Valencia to Alicante, Alicante to Quesada.
Again, plenty of 24 hour stations.

Both take around the same time, around 8 and a half hours with 2 stops on the way.

Use ViaMichelin to plan your route and it will give times and prices.

Thanks ever so much, sitting in the car in Portsmoth waiting for the ferry. We haven't been over for over two years, we are so excited. And we never driven before.

Marcliff’s first route is the best I have just arrived having got off the ferry at 9 o’clock this morning Passport control was slow but only needed to see passports not locator forms or vaccine certification we have a small dog and luckily last time we were here we got her a Spanish passport and we sailed through others from U.K. not so lucky with the import documents Petrol in Santander 1.31 euro a litre then refuelled just south of Madrid same price. All motorways clear with occasional roadworks. Good to be back!
