Free concert in honour of Joaquin Fuster 18th November

Pianist Joaquín Fuster was born in Rojales (Alicante) in the late 19th century in the midst of a family of deep musical tradition. Clarinete at the La Lira Music Band since a child, he also studied the piano at the regional academies and completed the study at the Conservatory of Madrid and with illustrious teachers in Paris. Considered by criticism by the great interpreter of Spanish music, he put his art at the service of modern composers and developed a great concertistic and pedagogical activity in various conservatories in Latin America and finally at the Sherwood Music School in Chicago, USA, where he died in 1953.
