Local beach bars

Hi , last time we were in Spain we went to Cabo Roig in April and noticed that the beach bar was closed.
We heard rumours that they were closing them down which is a shame and why??
Can anyone update me please as we are returning end of June . Are the local beach bars open now??

Apparently there were some contractual issues, or possibly fraudulent awarding of the contract. All of the beach bars in Orihuela Costa were removed as a result.

Strangely enough, last time I walked along the coast from Punta Prima to Cabo Roig, the Cabo Roig bar was the only one still open.

Is the beach bar at El moncayo open ?

2 beach bars definitely open till at least 21-30. Near la matute restaurant and Italian restaurant on avenada Del Agua.
