Flight luggage

i fear that baggage handlers see "Fragile" labels as a challenge

Whenever I take my valuable and rather delicate saxophone, I pack it tightly in its case, inside a suitcase, and make sure it cannot rattle around. Then, at the airport, I take it to the Heavy Luggage counter, because I was once advised that they handle these items a bit more carefully! So far, so good ... I am trying it again next week!

It is very frustrating that valuable hold luggage appears to be uninsurable ...what does that tell you????
