Mobile Boarding Passes

Mobile Boarding Passes

Postby Theboundary » Tue Mar 04, 2014 8:56 am

I am planning to use the easyjet mobile boarding passes for the first time when I fly back to the UK from Alicante in a few weeks time.
Easyjet are making rather a big thing of this service and Alicante is now on their list of airports where you can use your mobile phone rather than a printed boarding pass.
I am a little apprehensive using it for the first time especially in Spain as I am not sure my better half would be too impressed if we were not able to board the flight!
Has anyone downloaded this app from easyjet and used it to board a flight?
Would appreciate hearing if it worked ok.

Yes a family member used their mobile boarding pass last week no problems at all. Although as it was her first time doing so she had printed off her boarding pass as a back up just incase there were any issues.

Been using it for a while now, no problems.

Works even better if you have an iPhone complete with the "passbook" app. The boarding pass is then stored in there and is even quicker to access. You can also make the boarding pass your home screen so you don't even need to go beyond your home screen.:D

I used in feb. All went ok. Just a bit worried ic the phone died. So I think it's worth having a back with printed boarding cards just in cas

I'm also a little apprehensive about paperless boarding so have not yet given it a go. As I book for my family, does anyone know if their boarding passes will also be accepted from my phone or will they need paper copies? I don't have an iPhone but love the idea of saving as home screen for quick and easy access :)

Personally i don't worry to much about boarding passes these days.

For instance the other week i checked in online with Jet-2 who don't do mobile boarding passes

I wasn't able to print out a boarding pass so just went to the desk at the airport and they gave me a boarding pass no problem.

If you read from the beginning of the thread "The Boundary" you will see an answer to your question.:?

What about the situation where we only have one phone but two boarding passes. How does that work?

I used the mobile boarding passes last Thursday. Both passes were on my phone and there were no problems

That's what I was trying to say Gordonchapman, so thanks for asking - and thanks Alisongrahame for answering :D I'm feeling a lot more confident in giving it a go when I fly over in June :)
