Possible flight delays for next 6 days

Please be aware that due to a French air traffic controller dispute, flights to Spain may be affected during the next 6 days.

Disruption was supposed to be severe although this has now reduced as 1 of the 2 French unions involved have pulled out of the industrial action. EasyJet have cancelled some flights today and both BA flights from Gatwick to Alicante did operate but were both late.

Hope it is resolved soon as we are coming out Saturday.

Thanks for info Allan. Hope it doesn't affect you, I know how much we all look forward to going over there, and if like us you don't get a lot of holidays every moment is precious.

Yes, set to last 6 days, so should end on Sunday. Hope that you're not affected, I would just check with the airline before setting off. Looking at Alicante airport today & a couple of flights are just delayed.

6 days is a long time for an air strike so hopefully there'll be an early resolution - coz I'm supposed to fly over on Friday night and have only a few days before I have to go home again

On the bright side, I'll be back again when the school holidays start for 3 gloriously sunny, relaxing weeks

I hope that if anyone is inconvenienced by this strike that it is only due to a small delay and not to a cancelled flight

We are flying out on Saturday from Cardiff, todays flight was cancelled so there will be a back log of people to deal with already lets hope they resolve it quickly.

I know of a few people that have had flights cancelled, suggest to keep checking with your airline. I do know that Monarch haven't cancelled any, only been suffering delays, but Ryan Air & Easy Jet have had quite a few cancellations
