Ryanair relax rules

Re: Ryanair relax rules

It's a bus service. It takes as long to fly from UK to here as the bus takes from here to Benidorm.
Ryanair is popular because it travels between a lot of different airports in different countries.
No better or worse than any of the others and no longer as cheap, either. Even BA now charge for cases (or, as they say, they reduce the price if you don't take a case).
I see Glasgow has started to employ bouncers who can refuse boarding to drunks and concentrate on flights to Ibiza and Alicante. After getting an early morning flight from Birmingham once (we had to be there by 5 am) and couldn't get a cup of coffee or breakfast as it wasn't open but could get alcohol as the bar was open, I can see why some of these flights get a bad reputation.
Maybe a bit more clamping down at the airports would resolve the situation but I can't see that happening as they make a huge profit out of it.

We travel Ryanair all the time, great flights, prices and never any issues, more efficient than Easyjet.
Rules are more relaxed now and more customer friendly.

Yes we also have never encountered problems on ryan air,,, and use a few times a year,, but we had a few problems when we used easy jet!! so it is just the luck of the draw I think.

Exactly. We went with Thomsons last year to Cyprus. Grossly in efficient, and then after take off told us they had no food on board after rushing is through the airport and then sitting on the tarmac for an hour to take off. They need to up their game.

Dot your correct to say no bouncers at Glasgow, perhaps Marcliff could provide more detail to his contribution (I think not).
attention seeking is a bit childish.

Hi Gordon,

I found this recent newspaper article that 'appears' to clarify what marcliff is saying - However I'm sure we all know, from experience, that this is a UK airport problem and not specific to any certain airport:

Thanks for that Jan ,every airport bar has "security" ? It's not a problem unique to North of the Border I'm sure if you trawl deeper in archive there will be discredit to airports South of the border.
That's my point.
