Can anyone recommend someone to do palm tree removal

Hi has anyone had palm removed and if so who did you use and roughly how much did it cost.

Christains garden centre removed 2 palms and 1 yucca tree down last year , they took them as close to the ground as they could, but we decided to keep the roots due to the damage it would cause tiles ,it cost us 600 euros, we found them very helpful and were happy with the results .
It was quite an interesting morning watching them being cut and lifted about 25ft up in the air to the lorry.
If you do speak to them ask for Britta she was very helpful.

We used a company called Palm Farms who are specialised in this type of work and they advertise in the free papers nearly every week. They are very good and make no mess, no damage to surrounding plants so you don't have to shift things, and the cost is €240 euros.
