Hi, you never said how old the trees are, if they are about 25 or more years old like mine it could be they are coming to the end of their life ,also 2 very hot dry summers and dry warm winters may not be helping. I know mine in the last year or so have seen better days even tho I have not changed the way I look after them. I water once a month flooding them and feed twice a year. Hope we get rain soon !!!

Morning all - new to the forum but have had our house in Gran Alacant fro 10 years now.
I was drawn here because of your thread on Lemon trees which I found through a Google search and was wondering if anyone could help
We have a lemon tree in a good sunny spot (in the ground) not over-watered and getting the right citrus fertiliser throughout the year.
Had a few good crops and earlier this year good blossom and robust growth
However, since the summer have had a fair bit of leaf drop and the fruit hasnt done well at all.
I have sprayed the tree a couple of times with the anti fungal and anti mirador sprays as a combo (smells like Jeyes) but I now have a rust like (fungus) on the leaves and on the now very stunted fruit.
Any ideas of cause and remedy ?

Welcome to the forum richymac,
I hope you get some helpful answers and remedies to your problem.
In my case, I have had a healthy lemon tree for years, as you may have read on this thread, but I can only say that I believe they thrive on neglect (I have never used pesticides or any fertiliser and only water literally 3 times a year, as I leave Spain to go back to the Uk, during spring, Summer and very early Autumn).
If I were you, I would cut off all the badly diseased fruit and leaves and throw some washing up liquid in water over the tree a couple of times and then leave it. Try not to water it - It's Winter anyway and there should be enough water and damp in the air plus some rain now and again. Lemon trees store water and hardly need watering anyway. Then ignore it and see what happens - Let nature take its course, if you possibly can.
Good luck.
Jan
