Coackroaches Again !!

Identified now as definitely from in or around the toilet. A silly question am aware they can crawl and some can fly but can they swim ??? Maggie

Thank you Dot think we'll give that a try just to see if that's where they are coming in from . If it is , probably not a lot we can do this time of the year other than keep it covered.Maggie.

If you have another toilet to use it may be a good idea to try the cling film to see if it stops them coming in - Just remember to put a note on the toilet seat in case anyone accidentally goes to use it with the cling film on...could be a bit messy.

Hello dont know if this will help, but we have a plug in bug eradecater which deters various bugs and mice including cockroaches. It does seem to work for us and can be purchased from AKI in Torrie, When we where on holiday with our Children in Gran Canaria or Tenerife years ago there where lots of them in the streets we were told not to stand on them because they carry eggs which makes them spread off your shoes. The only thing I had was hair spray in the apartment and yes I did use it and it worked although (they was a little stiff lol) but it got rid of them. Just try it that is all i am saying until you get the plug in, and no I have not had a drink honest!!!

Hot water and spraying boric powder are the best solution for killing cockroaches!
