is it possible to grow orange and lemon trees in a pot? Any advice would be well received.

I've got orange, mandarin and lime in pots.My lemon tree is in the ground. They need to be big pots and you need to watch the watering (neither too much nor too little) and make sure they're fed during spring/summer. The lime has been the most productive and I've had quite a few mandarins. I had quite a few oranges last year but all the buds dropped this year
and I think that was because I watered them just before we had heavy rain storms. So yes, it's possible, just not as easy as sticking them in fertile soil in the ground.

its nice to grow your own stuff, but if you look at the price of oranges and lemons on the markets ,is it worth it ,buying the pots ,the compost ,the saplings ,then the watering and care and attention if you go away in a dry spell,
near me ,oranges €3 ,5 kilos,a guy selling then from his garage,
