The Cockroach busters are doing the rounds!

The Cockroach busters are doing the rounds!

Postby Jan » Mon Jul 11, 2016 1:31 pm

Hi everyone,

The spraying people are around and doing the drains at the moment to rid the area of Cockroaches. They were around the Lo Marabu area of Dona Pepa this morning and when they have sprayed each drain they are putting a bright pink cross on the drain cover. That way you can see if your drain has been done this year yet.

If you don't have insect netting on your windows and see the sprayers coming, it's best to keep the windows closed until they have finished, to avoid any flying Cockroaches coming into the house.

Hi Sharon,

I moved your post into this topic as it was in an unrelated topic.

Don't worry, sometimes the odd Cockroach may find its way into the house and it doesn't always mean there will be more. Just use a spray like ORO to spray around the threshold of all the external doors and if you don't have insect/mosquito netting on the windows and grill doors, possibly think about having it. The mosquito netting is great for Summer as windows and doors can be opened at night without letting in mosquitoes and Cockroaches.
There is lots of information on the forum if you put Cockroaches into the search box top right.

Hi All, if you have cockroaches but also have pets, buy Bio Kill pet friendly spray. Buy in Carrefour or any large supermarkets. It us a spray bottle, 500 ml and costs approx €4.75. Spray around house, doors etc. each spray lasts for 1 month. Pic attached.

I hope you have put it in the Search Box, as Jan suggested

I drowned one in fly-spray last night ;)

(Readers of my other posts today may be pleased to see that I have recovered my SOH ... sorry 'bout that  )

Better put ORO in the search box too! Don't want a live one in the forum.
