Advice about other areas please?

Hi, I have lived in quesada for 8 years, had a holiday home up near the aeropuerto road, was fine if you had a car or fit. Then when moved over 8 years ago looked for a place nearer to town ,thought about old age...doctor's, shops, banks, bars ect ,and could I walk if I had to give up driving. So now have a place not far from the norwegian school, walking distance to town no big hills!!, aqua park ( good for gran kids and young at heart )and great views and quiet with people living here all year round. Have another look round some of the areas just out from town you will find some nice places for sale. Benimar is also nice and some lovely villas.hope you find some where and maybe meet up for a drink in town .

We are down the side of the golf course and bought it for all the reasons you mentioned. Huge ex pat community but equally private, bit going on round about, bars restaurants Rojales and a fab supermarket at supervalue. Our visitors think it's heaven being able to have fresh crusty bread every morning within a minutes walk. We also considered how it would be when one is left on their own (morbid I know but one has to be practical) and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

We spent 2 years looking in and around Quesada - from Aspe to Punta Prima and it sounds like some of our requirements were similar to your own. Finally we found somewhere earlier this year just outside La Marina village using the agent Marina Costa. We alsu looked at the large La Marina urbanization with all the agents there and would recommend Barclays/Watsons as the least pushy and straight talking. My advice is hire a car and look look look. In my view it is a big decision and you need to be as certain as you can be that you got it right - We beleive we did.
PS Quesada has the best website though!

Can I ask where Rojales Hill estate is and how to get there, I have seen a few nice houses there, just not sure exactly where it is. I also seen a nice estate just opposite Guadermar on the other side of the 332, might have been called Even, does anyone have any thoughts on it?
Is it me? I never seem to see many signs identifying the urbanisation names so never sure where I am. Maybe that's the Spanish way

Hi, Rojales Hills is an area which forms part of the extension of Quesada, going towards Rojales town. Behind Quesada Main Street is the Norwegian school area, behind that is a green area, with Atalaya park to the left (behind the big Chinese shop) and Atalaya to the right. Behind Atalaya (starting at the top of the hill) is Rojales Hills which goes right down towards Rojales until it becomes Benimar, before the Benimar shopping centre. Best way to get to it is up Quesada main street from the arches, turn left alongside the town hall and follow signs for the aqua park, pass it and you reach a roundabout. Rojales hills is below you on the hill from the roundabout (left and right). Sorry this is a bit complicated but hopefully it's helpful

I have lived in Benijofar for 10 years, love it here. From my villa just a 6 minute walk to the commercial centre.Butchers, restaurants etc.
Great park with lake and ducks, main village has many bars and a small supermarket.
You can walk to Aldi and Consum and we often walk into Rojales to the market and Mercadona, and also to Quesada high street (not in Summer though !)We have bikes and have cycled to Guardamar along the canal.
