Query re internal stair regulations in Spain

Query re internal stair regulations in Spain

Postby lllkb01 » Wed Jun 13, 2018 3:22 pm

We are looking to build upwards. Before we call in a builder we want to sort out possible configurations. One of the pieces of information that I have been unable to find is regarding the regulations re internal stairs (height and depth of steps etc).
Please can someone point me in the right direction for this information. Thanks

I thought that in Spain any alterations, particularly of the type that you are considering, have to be overseen by an architect. He will have all the relevant rules, regs, and heights.

I think when you apply to the town hall for your licence you will for that type of reform need to employ a architect it is i think compulsory but can save you a lot of money in the long term.
