Supermarket toilets

Postby Tommy » Mon May 01, 2017 4:37 pm

We are coming back to Quesada at the end of the week but unfortunately one of the family has been taken ill and may need access to a toilet at short notice.I have never bothered before but I was thinking that there are a few supermarkets about so can anyone tell me if any of them have a toilet that we could use.cheers

You will find most supermarkets have toilets - I could be mistaken but it is law here in Spain?
Definitely the Mercadona's in Rojales have toilets & so does the Supervalu at Marquesa Golf. Consum in Dona Pepa too, not been in the new Lidl but sure it will have.

Yes the above is correct - I have a condition that makes me ultra aware of where there are toilets or not. However, I found the Mercadona in Rojales very difficult as, unless I made a mistake , the toilets are a couple of floors up in the car park and not only is it dangerous walking through all the cars going in and out, it was the worst toilet ever. Just one toilet (for men and Ladies) and it was dirty and no soap provided (luckily I always carry anti-bac gel) but not an experience I want to repeat. Hopefully I went in the wrong toilet and I really hope someone can tell me that the actual Rojales Mercadona supermarket toilets are somewhere else..please.

Thanks

Jan

The new Lidl has toilets to the left just before the bakery as you enter the shop

Consum in Rojales has nice clean toilets on the left as you go in, just 10 meters from the cash desk..

Yes Jan, You are correct that the toilets in the Rojales Mercadona are on the 1st level (there is a lift), agreed that you are walking in the car parking bit, but keep to the wall still plenty room for cars to pass. There are actually two toilets (1 male, 1 female) they are cleaned regular can't say I've ever had a problem.
