buying antibiotics

Hi everyone,

I need some antibiotics, is it right you can buy them from the pharmacy, I'm in Dona Pepa, does anyone know the nearest place i can get some from?

Some you can, depends on your situation, they will ask some questions about why etc.
There is one near consum, lo marabou, one near jumerca gamma and one at El Raso.
One of our family needed some, but because she was pregnant they wanted a prescription . . . Took about 20 mins to get one from the Salud in Guardamar and then the item was half price because of having a prescription.

They will sell you antibiotics in the chemist on the canal road near the Jumerca (Gama) supermarket.

I don't know when you last got them from there but they are clamping down and have a sign up saying they are in a scheme to stop the over prescribing of them.
The dentist, on the phone, told my wife to take antibiotics for 3 days before treatment and that pharmacy wouldn't sell them to me without a note from the dentist.

They will sell them to you if you know the name of the antibiotic..not just asking for antibiotics as they prescribe different ones for different reasons. I'e chest ..abscess..skin..etc

I’m relieved to read this as I have suffered from cellulitis twice in the last six months and was very concerned about a flare up when on holiday as it’s so debilitating. Thanks for info.

The chemist by Carrefour in Torrevieja will also sell them to you.

Even if you're not concerned that selling antibiotics over the counter without a prescription is ILLEGAL, you should be worried about antibiotic resistance, already posing a threat to health around the globe:
