Corsodyl mouthwash at Quesada pharmacy

My wife is having severe problems with her gums & needs to use Corsodyl mouthwash to alleviate pain. We travel with hand luggage only so a 300ml bottle, unless decanted into 100ml dark glass bottles to pass through security, isn't acceptable.

Would someone be kind enough to check if she can buy it in Quesada pharmacy please. I'd expect to be able to buy it there. A price would be good too. She has the 300ml mint one.

She'll need it as soon as we arrive 25/2 so we need to know if Quesada stocks this to save us going from chemist to chemist (wherever they are).

I decant into those clear plastic 100ml bottles you can buy anywhere - Primark / pound shop/Savers (both only a £1 for 3 bottles) Superdrug also have them for not much more in price. Not sure why you need a dark bottle but maybe there's a reason for this mouthwash that I don't know.

I've taken cough medicines and all sorts of liquids in these bottles.

Obviously its better to buy local if it's available but if you don't get a definitive answer, you could bring some in a 100ml bottle and then take the label into any chemist to see if they have it, or a Spanish version of it.

My OH uses clorhexidina mouthwash, as recommended by the dentist. I think this is the same, if you look at the small print under the Corsodyl name. It is available in the el canal farmacia €8+ or €6.50 if you go to Carrefour

Why dont you just buy it once you are through departures, you are now allowed a carry on bag as well on all flights, and you will get it in Boots.

It has to be a dark container, Jan. That's not a problem as my local UK chemist sell these. However, we want to buy locally! Less messing about especially when we've other liquid type items we want to bring out.

I've looked on the bottle, Sharon, it states the active ingredient is Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% so it seems you're correct. You said the El canal farmacia, is that the big Quesada one? If not where is it please.

I'd not thought of looking into doing that. We don't have Boots but we do have Supadrug & I've looked on the airport website & it says I can preorder items & they give a number for us to do that.

Still prefer to buy locally, much less hassle.

El Canal farmacia is opposite Gama on Dona Pepa but I would think that the big one in Quesada main street would also stock it.

There are two Pharmacies in Quesada - Click on these for location etc:

Pharmacy El Canal in Doña Pepa

Apotheke Pharmacy / Chemist in Quesada town
