Delays with test results in Torrevieja Hospital?

I asked our friend who has had similar blood tests and they said that the hospital sends the test results to their doctor in the health centre in Quesada. They also said that the results have also been available on-line, although to the uninitiated they may not be so easy to understand that way. However, a visit to the local doctor is easier than having to travel to the hospital each time.
Although if a hospital doctors appointment is booked then the results should be there.

I can't imagine that it's anything to do with the EU situation as nothing should have changed with health care yet, if it ever does.

We have recently been to see the oncologist at Torre hospital, and she didn't have the results. Said it was the 2nd time that day. She also said the radiology team had told her to allow more time as the delays were through holidays

That sounds like a more plausible reason ... most things slow down in july and august
