How to register with a doctor in Quesada?

I've just moved from another village to Dona Pepa and received my updated SIP from the town hall to change my doctors to the medical centre. Can anyone give me some advice please about the procedure at Quesada Medical Centre? Will a doctor be assigned to me, or am I allowed to choose, especially if there is a lady doctor who I would rather be with. Also what are the opening times? I can usually get by with my Spanish but for medical terms would it be necessary to take an interpretor with me?
Would be grateful for any advice on how the medical centre operates.

Doesn't your updated SIP have the name of a designated doctor on the back? I've just received my new card yesterday and it has a doctor allocated to me.
However ,the receptionists at the health centre would be able to help you out. They do speak English but it may be necessary to take an interpreter for the GP appointments.

The type is very faint at the back of my SIP and couldn't read it but I went to the health centre this morning and made an appointment within a couple of minutes. Apparently the name on the back is the lady doctor. So, excellent service . I was used to waiting up to 45 minutes in my last surgery to make an appointment and that's if you was lucky not to catch the time when she decided to go for an hour's tea break leaving the surgery unattended.
