Lo Maribu Clinic

Lo Maribu Clinic

Postby El Tel » Wed Feb 20, 2019 1:14 pm

My wife and I have booked our first doctors appointment for prescriptions tomorrow, and wonder what the Lo Maribu Clinic is like? Do you have to check in on arrival and do many people speak English( we do go to regular lessons but I am anxious as this is a bit specific). Our Dr. Is José Antonio Valentí Aldeguer?

You don't need to book in. Just go to the section where the doctor is and sit and wait until your name is called. Pay particular attention as the pronunciation of names can be quite amusing.
You are asked to bring an interpreter with you if you don't speak Spanish (signs up all over the place about it).
Some of the doctors do speak a bit of English but I don't know that particular one. If you are just showing your current prescription and getting it changed to a Spanish one then you probably don't need an interpreter.

I you have a decent mobile phone, then load the app for Google Translate. You speak into the phone in English, and the phone repeats it in any language you like. Likewise, when the Doctor speaks, the phone will translate it to English.
