Prescription

Hi, we are not residents but are staying longer than intended, our flight has been cancelled so we may stay 2/3 months.
How do I obtain prescription, we are registered with the doctor in Algorfa and have a temporary SIP card.

I would say you'd have to go to the doctor, other than that take your tablets to the pharmacy and see if you can buy them over the counter, some things you can but others you cannot, plus some are very expensive. Maybe try the chemist first rather than standing in the doctors.

If you have, or can get, an electronic copy of your prescription from home, pharmacies, generally, will dispense based on that. Alternatively, if you have the box your medicine cane in, with your name on, then that, generally, suffices.

I went to the chemist in Benijofar, they were very very helpful. Took my repeat prescription slip, Which apparently is the same as a prescription. Got 3 lots of tablets for a month. This cost me €10 which I thought was very good.
