Smear test

Hi does anybody know if there is a private clinic in Quesada or surrounding areas where you can pay to have a smear test done and if so how much do they charge and what documents are needed

Call in & speak with the receptionists/nurses at Dr Ballester's practice straight across from the petrol station by Quesada arches, they will advise you what will be involved.

If you go through the pink ladies, smears are 65€. Tests are done at the IMED clinic in Torrevieja, near Habaneras

I only paid €55 at Medicare in benijor for a smear test

Barbara, the gynaecologist in Dr Ballester's at The Arches, is lovely. I don't know how much it costs sorry because it was covered by my insurance.

My wife saw the lady gynaecologist at Dr Ballester's surgery. She said it was a much more pleasant experience than anything she'd had in the UK - and thorough: as well as the smear test itself, she also had an internal ultrasound. Sorry, don't know the cost, as it was covered by our private health insurance.
