Torrevieja Hospital

My husband lost his foot in a cycle accident and had a six hour operation to reattach it. Excellent surgeon and after care. Last year he had a stroke and again, even though they were obviously short staffed and under pressure, he had excellent care in Torrevieja hospital. I have had several ops in the old hospital near Orihuela, and was treated with respect and care. Never treated me any different from locals. I feel I would be dead had I relied on the NHS! It’s pretty normal to be given paper covering prior to surgery and to be awake during knee surgery. They gave me a spinal injection and I felt nothing.

Might be normal to have paper coveting if wearing a gown. She was naked and on top of the covering and having a knee op.!
