You cant buy stuff like that in the shops but if you go to a farmacia they are very helpful and will sort you out.
The british shops used to sell stuff but got into a lot of trouble as its illegal here

If you take the UK box or packet of what you need, if you have it, they are generally very good in the Farmacia and will show you the Spanish version of that medication. If you don't have it look it up at Boots UK, or similar website and show them the picture with the ingredients, they may understand that as most seem to speak good English.
Here's a list of the Farmacia's in Quesada:

I've not found the Farmacias in Spain more expensive with most things than the UK. May depend which one you use or what you buy but sometimes things are cheaper. Antibiotics are usually under 5 euros my last lot were 4€ but that was a couple of years ago.
I have in the past bought medication to take back to the UK. Now I get free prescriptions in UK it isn't worth getting certain things in Spain. The Good thing though is certain items that are prescription only in UK are over the counter in Spain so if you are paying in the UK for them it's worth checking in Spain over the counter.
The UK prescription service does have quite a lot of innocuous medication on prescription only, where really it could be over the counter with a pharmacist advice. So worth checking if it's cheaper in Spain than paying prescription all the time.
