Where can I have injections of Vitamin B12 done?

Hello everyone, my husband and myself are coming to quesada in May for six months. We are staying in Dona Pepa. Whilst I am there I will be needing a couple of injections of Vitamin B12. I was wondering where I could have these done. Can I just make an appointment with a doctor or nurse, or do I have to register with a GP first.
Would be very grateful for any information anyone can give me.

I too have B 12 injections 3 monthly.Get your prescription from your GP in the UK and bring them with you and any clinic will give you them without you registering for a nominal fee.

Be sure that you are also taking a vitamin B complex pill as well as having the B12 injections, as the B Vitamins are synergistic....they all need each other! Taking one on its own can cause other problems, like the B6 takers in the USA who took it for stress, and ended up with their hair dropping out, because taking it on its own caused other problems.
Just make sure you have them all in your system.

Hi, I didn't know that. I've only recently been diagnosed with B12 deficiency, but that is the only one I am given now by injection. So I have to take a combination of the B vitamins as well ? It's a bit confusing all this. Can you tell me what I should buy in B vitamins.

B Complex is the name of the product. As long as they are all together, the results are very good......vegetarians should always take them as there is a lack of the B vitamis in vegetables......There is a lot of information about B vitamins on line....fascinating!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a clinic close to Dona Pepa that would give me a vitamin B12 injection. I have the prescription with me just need a nurse or doctor to give me the actual injection.
