Does anyone know of an Insurance company in Spain where you can pay the yearly car insurance on a monthly installment direct debit?

Unfortunately there are not any that I am aware of. The reason being that the banks make high charges to the insurance companies to arrange it. Some will offer 6 monthly or quarterly but generally only when a policy is 500€ or over, and the bank charges are added to the payments, and whenever I arrange a quote most policies come in cheaper than that.

Try Linea Direct. Although they don't do monthly ones, they are very flexible. I know someone who couldn't meet their next payment and they allowed more time for her.

I am with IBEX insurance. They allow you to split up the insurance into 3 installments, payed over 3 consecutive months. They charge just over €20 for this. But it at least makes it a bit easier to pay your premium for the year, if you are not able to pay it straight up. The only other insurer that I'm aware of that allows you to split up the payments into installments is Linea Directa. But I found their insurance premiums to be expensive. I have been driving for almost 15 years and they still charged me more than Ibex, at nearly €400 as apposed to Ibex who only charged me €303 for fully comprehensive. Ibex insurance have an office in Quesada.

I hope this helps.
