Car insurance

Could anyone recommend the best place to get car insurance. We are about to buy a car and a motor home and have no idea where to start. We have also been told that we can check that the vehicle has no fines or parking tickets, does anyone know how we go about this ?

Just taken out our car insurance with Jennifer Cunningham in Benijofar.
Was with Linea Directa but policy was better with JC and as I took out a second policy got 50euro cash back and 8 percent discount on second policy.

Staff very efficient friendly and handle all claims for you.

i have just changed from jennifer cunningham to easy cover insurance in quesada, 90e cheaper with easy cover and i have been with jennifer for 5 years, so it always pays to shop around

This is one of those Qs where most people will give differing advice!

Motorhome insurance is difficult to find as many insurance companies will not insure a motorhome. Some of the prices are silly prices. One was third party only at over €1,200!! I recommend you try Abbygate who will offer fully comp for around half that price! We did notice that they did not take any notice of the 9 years no claims we had or that we both have passed our advanced driving tests when we insured our motorhome with them. The insurance premium also includes a breakdown service, (rather like adding the cost of the RAC or AA to your insurance premium). Insuring 2 vehicles could get you a better deal than one. Worth a try.
