European Reg 650/2012 (Spanish Wills)

Read an interesting article that is worth a read at minimum , it refers to changing current Spanish wills and ensuring they are compliant with the above reg by Aug 17th 2015.
There is no opt out as has been suggested (as I understand it)? .

Hi, Liz & Gordon,

It's all explained here on this 'past' topic and there's not a problem unless you are a resident as I don't think it affects non-residents, as long as we already have a Spanish Will (including a Will in our home-country). However, it could be of interest to Residents in Spain to ensure that they have the correct Wills in place. Thanks for posting about this as it could be important.
