Interesting facts about Lemons

Hello everyone,
I found this article very interesting (especially as I grew the largest lemon ever this year - see my photo, below the article. Think you can grow a bigger one, try to beat it?).... At least I'm having fun - sort of sad... but fun .

Hi Jan. I dont have any proof to show you but I've seen bigger lemons that that. Did you hear about the 2 Spanish guy's in Asteria who found a mushroom that ways 6 Kilo's, thats like 3 bags of Tate & Lyle. That would be a good snack, Sos, Tomato and mushroom cob. Some one would have to help you pick it up!

Hi jan, i dont have a lemon tree but my neighbour does and its always over flowing, I make lemon posset if any left over from the G and T!!:lol:

What is a Lemon posset Dot or am I being thick? I usually give my left-over lemons to our neighbour who is an amazing cook - I'm sure he would know what a Lemon posset is.

I would love to take them home but they are a bit heavy for the hand-luggage!

Hi Jan, its like a lemon custard , for a large one 14oz caster sugar, 600ml double cream, juice and zest 2\3 lemons or to taste , put all in a pot bring to just boiling take of heat cool, put into little dishes or small teacups, chill serve with raspberry coulis. enjoy!:D
