If you can find out the details I can send them an e-mail in Spanish!! In the past I have had to send quite a few to our community administrators (unfortunately complaining!) so am used to sending letters in Spanish.

Thanks Sandra, that would be great! I will see if I can find any details. We are in Spain after Easter so if I can't find out before, I will try to find out while I'm out there if possible.

Hi Sandra,

Just found this - Dave's Coaches have a link to the airport bus service - I'm assuming this is the Alicante airport bus service that we are talking about on here:

http://www.coachtripsonline.com/compone ... rport.html

and on the following link there is an email form to give your opinion - The form is not specifically for opinions on the Airport bus service but we can use it for that : http://www.costazul.net/en/your-opinion.html

I have written a request for the bus to stop at Quesada and if more people do this they may get the message and decide to stop there.

I will also write about this on its own Topic soon, to hopefully get more of our members to write a request.

There is also a comment section on the CostaAzul website and, interestingly, a few people have already commented on the lack of a stop in Quesada.

The above website for the Bus service from Alicante to Torrevieja has 'only just' been suspended. Sorry for any inconvenience, it was definitely there on Friday 22nd, so wonder what's happened??? If anyone knows if the bus is still running please let us know. Thanks.

Thanks Guapa. That link shows the bus is still running and all the times - very helpful.

I have used the link to email them and ask for an explanation. I even went to an online free translation site so that I could type it in English and send it in Spanish (I know then that they will read and understand it and not just delete). Let's see.
As suggested, if loads of us do it then they surely must take notice.

....and within the hour I got this reply.....

Dear Sir, The reason that the line between Alicante Airport and Torrevieja not have stop in Ciudad Quesada is only because we are not allowed to perform any intermediate stop. The service only stops at Torrevieja, as the Grant Line so provides. Sincerely José Pedro García Cerden. So there you go folks, the contract won't allow them to stop anywhere else.

Thank you so much Jordy, it's so good to get an actual reply...you must have the magic touch!

I wonder if they may change the contract next time, if they get lots of requests for a stop in Quesada??

Thanks again,

jan

better suggestion, take lessons in spanish, it is really not that difficult, I can now write and speak spanish fluently, makes the whole experience much, much better, and saves me a load of money, recently negotiated 400€ off a repair bill.
