Hi there. I'm new to the site and am really interested in buying a property in Quesada. I am looking at property in La Fiesta and wondered how far it would be to walk to main town. Also are there any good dog walks in surrounding areas.
Many thanks

Hello Beesknees and welcome to the forum. We live very close to La Fiesta overlooking the golf course.
In answer to your question re walking to Quesada, it is possible but would take you a good 30 minutes or more dependent on your walking speed. There are some nice bars at the golf course which is nearer, along with a supermarket however you would have a hill to climb on your way home.
There are plenty of places to walk your dog with Recorral park just at the top of La Fiesta where you can meet lots of dog walkers of many nationalities.

We have had a holiday home on La Fiesta 1 for 6 years now and enjoy the walk into Quesada Centre. It takes approx 20 minutes to walk in (more if you stop for a break at one of the hostelries on the way for a refresher to help you along.

In the evening we usually take a taxi back up th hill which costs about 7/8 euros. Well worth it as I have some breathing problems.

La Fiesta is a lovely quiet area which benefits from lovely cooling breezes in summer, a great relief from the intense heat. There are great facilities within walking distance and a lovely sense of a multi national community who all seem to get on well.

I am really pleased we decided to buy here, and if you decide on this location I am sure you will not be disappointed
