Hello everyone

We have just taken possession of our house in LoCrispin. Glad we finally took the plunge. Everyone here has made us feel most welcome and been very helpful. Slight glitch with the electricity direct debit but hopefully the solicitor will sort it out before we arrive back next week, otherwise will have to buy some blankets, candles and a good torch. :P

Hi there, just completed 2 weeks ago myself so if you need a good solicitor I would recommend the one we used as I cant fault them or their service. Their telephone number is 00 34 96 670 32 48 ask for Maria or Carmela. However I didn't really speak with them until the day I completed as I did everything by email in 2 weeks. We didn't even have to pay the hugh fees for a bankers draft as they were more than happy for me to transfer the funds into their client account. They said there is a samll charge of 40/50 euros for a cheque which is nothing compared with the fees you would pay at the bank. They are also arranging at the moment for our suma, water and Electric to be set up by direct debit.

Parra & Gonzalez Solicitors,
Email address: [email protected].

Hope this helps

Would you say 1% of the purchase price is the 'norm' for solicitors fees?
