Hi everyone!!
Hi everyone!!

I'm looking forward to completing the purchase of our new villa in the pueblo bravo area in June, we've got lots to explore and research over the summer so any insights or guidance would be most welcome.
We engaged with the Euromarina developers who have a deep history (I understand) in the quesada area, I must say that they've been hugely experienced and professional in our dealings at every stage so far.
I'm using the site resources to get a grasp of the basic services etc, thanks for the help and I look forward to engaging with the site in the future.
Initially I need to purchase some decent quality outdoor solarium furniture if anyone can assist.
Best regards,
Roy

Good luck in your new home Roy, hope you have a blast there.
Carrefour and Leroy Merlin are really good for solarium furniture, if you want a wee bit better Hnos Garcia is excellent. Also if you know Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca about 25 minutes away, there is an amazing shop on the N332, 2 minutes past the blue bridge at Punta Prima I will try to find out the name of it for you by the weekend.Although the people on this site are so on the ball you will probably have more places to go by the time I find out the name.
Xciting times ahead and Quesada and surrounding areas are really nice, lots to do, beaches amazing, and plenty of places to eat.

Siesta Garden furniture in Los Montesinos, just before the roundabout from the Quesada end, are great. Very helpful, free delivery and reasonable prices

Big thanks for the replies everyone, you have been very generous with your advice and I now have a decent idea of where to start.
I'm guessing I'll need to pre-order so any experience on estimated lead times would be helpful, my game plan is to sort the solarium (furniture and loungers), then decide on the barbecue etc. In the meanwhile I'll bring my music system along and I'm ready to go!!
My two sons plan to follow us out a couple of days after I get the keys so I have two days to get organised!!
Cheers,
Roy

Roy 95% of the time the things I have bought they were delivered about an hour after I got home, the customer care as far as I am concerned is amazing. Happy shopping.

Hi Roy,
How exciting! I like your 'two days' in which to get everything organised - sounds like a challenge but I'm sure it's possible.
Everyone on this forum is so friendly and all areas of advice seem to have been covered so, if you encounter any problems, the answers will doubtless be here.
Good luck with your new home and enjoy it! My husband and I are waiting for a completion date, not very patiently, so we and our family can enjoy our new Quesada adventure.

Well everyone, I'm in the thick of my two day 'fit out challenge!
Picked our keys up yesterday, the weather was unbelievable, rain, storms, fork lightening etc..
Today in contrast has been 33 degrees and hugely busy!
Set up Spanish bank account first thing and transferred UK funds, then a meeting with the lawyer and a trip to Elche for the NIE number. Thereon, lunch at las lagunas hotel then to Carrefour for all the items and importantly I ordered my outside furniture at Hnos Garcia (as you recommended on the forum) which will be delivered before my two sons arrive at 11.00am tomorrow. Phew!!
Importantly I put two cases of beer in the fridge to chill overnight and a few bottles of champagne to celebrate.
Thanks for everyone's help, I surely needed it.
